General Caution for Yoga Practice
Allow at least an hour after a meal before practicing to avoid discomfort.
Always inform your teacher of any health challenges or injuries, before or after the class.
Listen to your body. If you experience any discomfort during yoga practice, take a break and rest. Never strain or force yourself.
Endeavour to breathe through the nostrils, not the mouth (except when instructed otherwise).
Yoga practice should be enjoyed and the attitude of patience, enthusiasm, empathy and kindness to yourself.
